Christmas in Camberley started in style on Saturday 20th November, with The Square hosting children’s character Peppa Pig for meet and greet sessions, the grand opening of Santa’s Post Office and a fabulous Christmas craft market in the centre.

Families flocked to The Square to enjoy festive fun throughout the day ahead of the town lights being switched on at 4.45pm

Hundreds of children enjoyed meeting Peppa and having a photo taken followed by a visit to Santa’s Post Office to prepare and send Christmas wish lists to Santa via the magical post box.  Santa’s Post Office will remain open between 11am and 4pm between Wednesdays and Sundays. In the week leading up to Christmas, Santa’s Post Office will be open from Monday 20th through to Friday 24th – Christmas Eve! – so no letters are missed.

Visitors also enjoyed free face painting and seeing Santa’s Reindeers whilst being entertained by local performers ahead of the light switch on, all organised by Collectively Camberley.
