Free Santa’s Post Office experience returns to The Square

After the success of last year’s Post Office, The Square Camberley is welcoming back the elves and opening the doors to its Santa’s Post Office once again.

After the success of last year’s Post Office, The Square Camberley is welcoming back the elves and opening the doors to its Santa’s Post Office once again.

From Saturday 19th November, visitors to The Square can stop by the free, family friendly Post Office in Grace Reynolds Walk opposite TK Maxx and write their very own letter to Santa with the help of the mischievous elves. Guests are encouraged to stop by and get creative with their letter to Santa, letting him know how good they’ve been and what they’re wishing for.  They can then post it in the special post box to the North Pole ready for the big day, watching it travel through a light show before it arrives at Lapland.

Santa himself will even be stopping by for a few surprise appearances and to check in on his elves, so visitors have been told to keep an eye out!

The Post Office opening coincides with Collectively Camberley’s Christmas Light Switch On, featuring a range of festive entertainment and concluding with Father Christmas switching on the lights at approximately 4:45pm.

The Square will also be holding a book signing with children’s author Liz Lockie for her wintery book, Noah, Blue and the Scooter that Flew from 12:30-1:30pm at Waterstones on the same day.  Liz will also be drawing The Square’s ongoing competition to win a signed copy and a scooter from I Love My Bike Shop, worth £95, which can be entered in-store at Waterstones until the competition is drawn. Visit The Square’s website for further information.

Rhoda Joseph, Centre Manager for The Square Camberley, commented “We are so excited to welcome families back to Santa’s Post Office this Christmas!  We encourage visitors to The Square to embrace the festivities and create their very own letter to Santa, and if you’re lucky, you may even see the big man in red himself!”

Guests can also enjoy a wide range of shops to get prepared for Christmas, and relax at one of the many cafes available for the perfect festive day out.

*Please note that Santa will not be making appearances on this weekend
