Free Family Fun Days Come to The Atrium This Easter

Families looking for something to do over the Easter school holidays will find free entertainment waiting for them at The Atrium, Camberley. On Thursday 9th and Friday 10th April (11am–4pm), the centre is running two free Family Fun Days built around a retro gaming theme, featuring activities for children of all ages at no cost to visit.
Free Family Fun Days — 9th & 10th April, 11am–4pm
An event zone inside the centre will host two main activities across both days:
- RC Bumper Battle Arena — A remote-control car bumper zone where visitors can take on friends and family in racing battles.
- Build & Race Zone — Children can design their own car before putting it to the test on a dedicated race course.
All activities are free to attend — no tickets or pre-booking required. Families can simply turn up and take part. Plus, you can book tickets at VUE Camberley, to see The Super Maria Galaxy Movie from 1st April.
Character Meet & Greet — Thursday 9th April
On the first day of the event, Thursday 9th April, two well-known gaming characters will be making appearances in the centre throughout the day. Visitors are welcome to stop by for photos and to meet the characters in person. Character appearances are scheduled for Thursday only and are subject to the event programme on the day.
The Dino Egg Trail — 1st–12th April
Running across the full Easter period, The Dino Egg Trail gives families a reason to explore the whole centre. Colourful dino egg images are hidden across The Atrium’s shops and brands, and participants are invited to find them all.
To take part:
- Pick up a trail sheet from Customer Services.
- Explore the centre and locate all the hidden dino eggs.
- Return the completed sheet to the event mailbox or Customer Services desk.
Everyone who completes the trail will receive a sweet treat and be entered into a prize draw. The prize bundle includes a Vue Cinema gift card, a Wildwood Camberley restaurant gift card, soft toys, and a themed desk lamp.
“We wanted to give local families something genuinely free and fun to do over Easter. Whether visitors come for the event days, the character appearances, or just to explore the trail at their own pace, there’s something for everyone at The Atrium this April.”
