The Square’s Kids Camp welcomed hundreds of little shoppers and families during the February half-term, with the centre hosting 6 days of fun filled activities.

The Camberley based shopping centre kicked-off their first event on Monday 18th February, seeing families meet and make some new furry friends at Jake’s Playworlds’ Animal Farm.

On Tuesday 19th February, families had the chance to spend some quality time together, whilst being creative and taking part in Mrs Pott’s arts and crafts sessions. Little shoppers created their very own Pom Poms, which they could then take home and show off to friends.

The Square then welcomed Camberley Library on Wednesday 20th February, who held storytelling sessions from 11am to 1pm. Camberley Judo Club then had great fun teaching little ones (and parents!) some new Judo moves.

Children then unleashed their creative imaginations and took part in word and number sessions provided by The Early Learning Centre on Thursday 21st February.

On Friday 22nd February, children had the chance to brush up on their acting skills with The Secret Stage School teaching new techniques in the centre from 11am – 1pm. Families then enjoyed taking part in Arena Leisure Centre’s creative activities, alongside meeting their mascot ‘Pooch’ who put plenty of smiles on little shoppers faces!

To finish the week on a high, on Saturday 23rd February The Square welcomed popular children’s television character Dora the Explorer. Children were seen pulling their parents along in eager anticipation to meet Dora who posed for pictures and met some of her biggest fans!

Joana Santos, Marketing Manager at The Square, said: “Our February half-term Kids Club was a great success, seeing both new and existing members come along and join in with the free fun! We were delighted to see how popular all the activities were throughout the week and having Dora here on Saturday was a really great finish to what has been one of our most highly attended Kids Club events.”
