Experience the Magic of Christmas in Camberley

Camberley is gearing up for an exciting and magical Christmas season with a jam-packed schedule of events that promise to bring festive cheer to everyone! From family-friendly entertainment to the best of local shopping, there’s something for everyone across the town this November and December.
Santa’s Grotto is back at The Square for 2025, bringing the magic of Christmas to families throughout December. Kicking off on Saturday 15th November as part of the Christmas in Camberley event, children can meet Santa and create lasting holiday memories. The Grotto will be open on select dates between Saturday 6th December and Tuesday 23rd December, with entry priced at just £3.50 per child. The wonderful Grotto Santas are kindly being provided by The Rotary Club, and half of all proceeds will go towards their chosen charities: Children with Special Needs, The Rotary Children’s Fun Day, and Home-Start.The Square also has an exciting array of festive events to make this Christmas season even more special. Start your holiday preparations with wreath-making at Hullabaloo on Thursday 27th November from 6pm to 8pm and again on Friday 5th December from 2pm to 4pm, the perfect way to embrace the festive spirit. Pre-booking is essential for this activity, with tickets priced at £40 per person.
On Friday 5th December, be sure to witness the incredible sight of a giant 3-meter penguin being built with balloons in Central Square! On Saturday 6th December, the fun continues with a balloon modeller in Central Square from 11am to 3pm, while the Camberley District Silver Brass Band fills the air with festive carols at intervals from 11am to 1pm in Cambridge Square.
On Thursday 13th December, the U3 Ukulele Band will bring holiday cheer with Christmas carol performances in Central Square from 11am to 12:30pm. And to round off the season, on Thursday 20th December, the High Cross Churches Together will delight visitors with a Christmas carol performance from 12pm to 1pm in Central Square.

Collectively Camberley is bringing festive cheer to the town with two exciting events this holiday season. The firsttakes place on Saturday 15th November with Christmas in Camberley on Park Street, where live performances, market stalls, and festive fun will fill the air. This will also mark the grand opening of Santa’s Grotto at The Square. Plus, The Square will be offering free face painting in Central Square from 10am until 3:30pm, adding even more fun for the whole family to enjoy! Then, on Saturday 6th December, Small Business Saturday invites everyone to shop local, discover unique gifts, and support Camberley’s independent businesses while enjoying the festive atmosphere across the town centre.

For movie lovers, The Atrium is hosting Christmas at the Movies throughout the season. Highlights include meeting Buddy the Elf on 29th November, seeing Home Alone’s Sticky Bandits on 6th December, and festive performances from Christmas Brass Bands and Whoville Elves later in December.
