Sunday Times Best Selling author, Essie Fox, will talk about the real-life inspirations for her Victorian Gothic novel, The Fascination at Camberley Library on Thursday 21 September 2023.
The Fascination tells the story of Victorian ‘freaks and wonders’. Set in the gritty rural fairgrounds, the glamour of the London theatres, and an anatomy museum based on one that did exist in a shop in Oxford Street, it is story of belonging and of dangerous obsessions.
