Bugs, bracelets and virtual reality! The Square Shopping Centre unveils its biggest May Half Term line-up yet
Families are in for a treat this May Half Term as The Square Shopping Centre prepares to transform Cambridge Square into a vibrant hub of creativity, colour and immersive family fun.

Running from Monday 25th May through to Saturday 30th May, the centre’s packed programme of activities promises everything from bug making workshops and pottery painting to friendship bracelet crafting and cutting-edge virtual reality experiences.
Designed to keep children entertained throughout the school holidays, the week-long line-up offers a different activity every day, giving families plenty of reasons to return again and again.
The fun kicks off on Monday with Bug Creations, where children can let their imaginations run wild designing colourful creepy crawlies with Creation Station. Tuesday then brings Pottery Fun with Fired Frog, allowing little artists to decorate their own paper cups, plates or bowls, with participants also receiving a 10% voucher for a future Fired Frog session.
Midweek, children can create personalised friendship bead bracelets before Thursday’s bright and colourful Sun Catcher Craft workshop with Artful Kids.
The week then finishes with a futuristic twist as Another World VR arrives at Cambridge Square for two days of immersive virtual reality gaming experiences. Suitable for ages five and above, families can enjoy thrilling VR rides from just £6.99, alongside augmented reality gaming experiences from only £3. Visitors can also enjoy 15% off during half term using the exclusive code MAY15.
Gavin Vidler, Centre Manager at The Square Shopping Centre, said:
